I'm MellPoynerHairGuru, an experienced Hairdresser and after many many years, of cutting, styling, and coloring all types of hair, I confidently and also with a little chuckle, refer to myself as a bit of a Hair Guru! Thus the name!​

After many years as a senior stylist in one of Paddington's trailblazing salons, and being a part of the National Redken team at Fashion Weeks, Photoshoots, and Movie Sets, I am stepping out on my own and creating my own brand. 

My service offering is different from that of a larger salon in that I prefer to work in block appointment timeslots with one client, to whom I can devote 100% of my attention.

I take my role as Hair Guru very seriously and love providing feedback and solutions, geared towards individual needs and budgets. If I feel that a service is not required, it will not be provided.

Individual solutions and hair quality are paramount.
